Views from July 2013

Ryan and Evan attended the Garen Wolf School of Music Band Camp in Greenfield, IN.  They are both playing trumpet.  They both advanced well during the week, and are excited to get back into lessons with their teacher in September.

We celebrated Miss Suzanna's 5th birthday...

 



Our church's VBS theme this year was Kingdom Chronicles.  Answers in Genesis puts out amazing VBS curriculum, and this was our 4th year to use it. 

The kids enjoyed Bible teaching, music, crafts, games, delicious snacks, and a nightly drama.  I have lots of pics, but not too much time to upload them all! :-)

Then we had a special surprise celebration for a milestone birthday...

 

 

It's not often that we have the whole family together.  So thankful for the times we can!

 

 

 

 

August is bringing loads of fun so far!  For the kids it includes a week with Grandma and Grandpa Burley and then a long, relaxing family vacation in the Smokey Mountains to take us right up to the opening day of our new school year.  Can't believe it's that time already!

Happy 60th Birthday!

I just finished watching my dad preach the evening message at a campmeeting in Indiana, and his words tonight reminded me of just a few of the reasons why I'm so blessed to be his daughter.

Happy Birthday, Dad. We love you and are forever grateful that you loved us enough to be the gentle, yet strong Godly father that you are.
