Her First Day In Heaven...

Granny Nichols made it home.  It is through tear-filled eyes that I write those words.  Death is the cruel enemy, and as thrilled as we are for her, our hearts ache for the void that is left.  We have such good memories and such blessed hope, and that is really more than any of us deserve.  The legacy that Granny gave us is a gift that is to be preserved and shared.  God's timing is perfect, and He wanted her to spend April 15th, 2012, with Him. And I can't help but wonder how she enjoyed her first day in Heaven!

***Please keep us in your prayers as we have a memorial service here in Lima on Tuesday, viewing in Illinois on Wednesday, and her funeral and graveside services on Thursday.

As is typical, our 4th baby has a much thinner picture book than our 1st baby. I took her into the back yard the other day, to take her photo among the dearly loved dandelions.

Please Breathe A Prayer

for my Granny Nichols.  She is in the hospital, and I don't know how to describe her condition, except that it was a rapid decline without much reason.  I was able to spend some precious moments with she, my brother, and my cousin last night and until about 3:45 this morning.  I'm always hopeful that she can bounce back, and I've seen her do it before, but there are some additional circumstances this time.  Please pray that her heart will regulate, and that God will protect the family who are traveling in.
