She is the latest and currently the only non-human gracing our home, although some days we think the boys are on the brink of falling into that category! Our luck with pets has been somewhat dismal, and our extremely large and hyper Chesapeake Bay Retriever wasn't gelling well with the household. Fortunately, we were able to find a new home for her (four acres and a pond sure beats her small pad in our backyard), and the boys pooled some of their money to buy a dog they deemed more appropriate. She's stinkin' cute, that's for sure!
