Our church's VBS theme this year was Kingdom Chronicles. Answers in Genesis puts out amazing VBS curriculum, and this was our 4th year to use it.

Then we had a special surprise celebration for a milestone birthday...
It's not often that we have the whole family together. So thankful for the times we can!
August is bringing loads of fun so far! For the kids it includes a week with Grandma and Grandpa Burley and then a long, relaxing family vacation in the Smokey Mountains to take us right up to the opening day of our new school year. Can't believe it's that time already!

I just had to tell you this. Burl was sitting on my lap as I was scrolling through this post and he pointed to a picture of your dad and said, "Pickles? Was that his name? Mr. Pickles?" LOL! I had to remind him, "No, his name is Mr. Nichols, not pickles." :D
First of all, Stephanie's comment above cracked me up! Secondly, we thoroughly enjoyed having your parents at our camp this year! I enjoyed a wonderful chat with your mom! She was such an encouragement to me!
