Greg and I decided that we would have our "Christmas" on Christmas Eve. We didn't have a big evening planned, and at the last minute decided to attend a Christmas Eve service at a church down the street. The kids griped a little at first, but enjoyed it so much! It was a beautiful way to spend the evening, giving honor to the Christ Child! Following the service, we opened our gifts. The kids were overjoyed with what they received, and showed their appreciation with hugs and repeated exclamations of thanks! We crawled into bed early Christmas morning, thanking God for His blessings and the Gift of His Son.

We usually always attend the Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at the United Methodist church nearby because they have wonderful music with a choir, pipe organ and orchestra. What a wonderful way to focus on the reason for the season! Glad you all enjoyed it, too.
